Theatre FAQs

Where is Company of Fools (COF) located ?
COF’s home base is the historic Liberty Theatre at 110 North Main Street in beautiful Hailey, Idaho.

Where can I pick up my tickets?
You may pick up your tickets at COF’s box office at the Liberty Theatre (M-F, 10-4) or the Sun Valley Center for the Arts (Center), Ketchum during regular business hours (M-F, 9-5 – Saturdays in Feb & Mar, Jul & Aug, 11-5) or one hour prior to curtain at the Liberty on the day of the performance. Tickets purchased via phone or online will be held at will call.

How do I exchange my tickets?
If you need to exchange your tickets for a different performance date of the same show, please call our box office at 208-578-9122 and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request based on availability.

Do you have group rates or special ticket pricing?
Sun Valley Center members and seniors receive discounts on tickets at Company of Fools. In addition, we offer several different programs to make theatre affordable for everyone: Pay What You Feel (the first night of every theatre production – not play readings), Educator’s’ Night, Group Rates (for 8 or more) and “10 for $10” (10 seats in the front row are sold for $10 each starting at one hour prior to curtain).

Is there a dress code at your theatre?
We do ask that you come wearing clothes and shoes, but beyond that, it’s really up to you! There’s usually a wide range of attire at our theatre, and at a given performance you may see people wearing anything from shirt and tie to jeans and cowboy boots.

Is your theatre wheelchair accessible?
The Liberty Theatre is fully wheelchair accessible and has an ADA compliant restroom. Front row and flexible seating is available upon request. Please call our box office with any special requests at 208-578-9122.

Are children welcome at your performances?
Most seasons, COF stages at least one production appropriate for children. Please take a moment to review our season on our website to see what is available for children. In general, we recommend children under age 3 do not attend any performance as COF does not allow babes in arms. All children must have a reserved seat.

Special Parent & Baby Performances (NEW for 2019 )
Beginning in the fall 2019, COF will offer a special Parent & Baby performance for each mainstage production. COF has created a special opportunity where parents can get out to see a play with their babies in tow! The theatre will be prepped and ready, with the house lights kept illuminated so that parents can keep an eye on their little ones. Baby changing station will be available in the restroom, and space will be set aside in the lobby where parents can retreat in the event that a little angel decides to turn into a little monster. Best of all, patrons can attend the show for a donation of their choosing, and babies get in for free! Please check the events calendar or contact us for more information at  208-578-9122.

If you have any questions about content, age-appropriateness or stage effects (such as strobe lights or theatrical fog) that might have a bearing on patron comfort, please contact the box office at 208-578-9122.

Do you offer a “Sensory Friendly” Performances?
COF recently joined the Theatre Development Fund’s Autism-Friendly Theatre Network, the first theatre in Idaho to join the prestigious organization that advocates for accessible live performing arts experiences for patrons with a range of spectrum or sensory disorders. Beginning in the fall 2019, we will offer a “Sensory Friendly” performance for each mainstage production specifically designed for audience members with autism, spectrum disorders, or other sensory disorders. Please check the events calendar or contact us for more information at  208-578-9122. Special thanks to TDF’s National Autism-Friendly Performance Training Program for serving as an advisor.

Can I purchase food and drink at your theatre?
A selection of beverages (bottled water, wine, beer, coffee, and tea) and snacks are available at our concessions counter. Food and beverage brought in from the outside is not allowed in the theatre. Cash or credit cards are accepted.

Do you have an assisted hearing device in place?

Yes! Thanks to a group of generous donors, Company of Fools is now thrilled to be able to offer AudioFetch, an assistive listening application to empower anyone with a smartphone to hear what they are watching at the Liberty Theatre in real-time!

If you desire assistive listening, simply download the free AudioFetch application onto your smartphone or tablet. Once you arrive at the Liberty Theatre, you will connect to the designated WiFi, AudioFetchExpress, and log-on using the password Fools2019. Then, open the AudioFetch app on your phone or tablet, adjust the volume to suit your needs, and enjoy the show! Don’t forget to bring your personal ear buds or headphones. Company of Fools has two smart phones with headphones that can be borrowed during the show.
