FREE “Giving Walk”: Sleight of Hand

Friday, November 27, 4:00 pm

The Giving Walk is a night organized by the Sun Valley Gallery Association to collect donations for the Hunger Coalition, Advocates, and Animal Shelter. Each gallery will have a donation drop off for the above organizations. Please note the time change for this event: 4pm-6pm.

Start your Gallery Walk at the Center!

Each year Sun Valley Gallery Association hosts seven gallery walks (exhibition openings for all SVGA galleries), which are eagerly anticipated and free to the public. Locals and visitors alike take in thought-provoking exhibitions of newly installed art, enjoy wine, mingle with friends, and often meet the artists.

This exhibition is part of The Center’s fall BIG IDEA project about the line between illusion and truth in the history of art and beyond. It features a selection of paintings by forger Mark Landis, alongside works by contemporary artists using art history as a lens through which to consider surface and reality, authenticity and authorship.

Sleight of Hand exhibition on view Sep 25–Nov 27, 2015 at The Center, Ketchum.
