Education Assistant

Sun Valley Center for the Arts is looking for an Education Assistant to work with educators and museum professionals to meet curricular learning goals through visual art projects. This part-time, non-exempt, hourly position is responsible for lead teaching and assisting the Education team in the planning, implementation and administration of The Center’s Classroom Enrichment Program for grades 6 through 12. The Education Assistant has a strong desire to work with students and educators to inspire confidence, self-expression, problem solving, empathy and improvisational skills.

Wine Inventory Coordinator

Sun Valley Center is seeking an organized, enthusiastic individual to assist with the 2017 Wine Auction as a Wine Inventory Coordinator. This part time role includes inventorying all wines for the Wine Auction event as they arrive at our partnering distributor warehouse, communicating with the Wine Auction Director on a weekly basis, and assisting during the Wine Auction events. The position runs from May to the end of July, with very flexible hours in the lead up to the event. Candidate must be available during the Wine Auction week starting July 17 – July 23, 2017.

Summer Internships

Administrative Summer Intern

Sun Valley Center for the Arts is looking for an enthusiastic, outgoing individual to join our team from May through early September 2017. This vital position helps increase the administrative capacity of The Center during the busy summer season and serves in an administrative role as Front Desk and Box Office Receptionist, event support (set-up/preparation, selling tickets, and tear-down) and general office administrative and program support, as needed. This high energy position requires organization, responsiveness and a positive attitude. A great opportunity to gain wide exposure and experience in all assets of arts administration.

The candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office and be available for weekend and evening work.
