Development Director

Sun Valley Center for the Arts is seeking a dynamic professional fundraiser and development team leader who wants to be part of an exciting vision for growth at Idaho’s largest non-profit arts organization. This unique opportunity is for a select candidate who has a proven track record of growing contributed revenue and can lead our development efforts to new levels of success at a time when the organization is keenly focused on growing its impact in the community. The Director of Development, working closely with the CEO and the board, is The Center’s architect of a comprehensive fund raising and development plan to build relationships and resources. Proven success in non-profit fundraising is required, as is demonstrated leadership and management capability. Ties to the Wood River Valley and/or Idaho, or experience fundraising in resort community is preferred.

Summer Internships

Wine Auction & Summer Events Intern

Sun Valley Center for the Arts is looking for a dedicated, passionate individual to join our team from March to September, 2017. The role of the Wine Auction & Summer Events Intern is to assist with the coordination and logistics of The Center’s annual fundraiser, the Wine Auction, providing administrative support to ensure a smooth execution of the event.  This is a hands-on position, requiring flexibility, organizational skills and an interest in event planning. The Wine Auction Intern also acts as a support for the Center’s Arts & Crafts Festival and Summer Concert Series.
 
The candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office and be available for weekend and evening work.
