Lot #22 – The Snow’s Fine… And So Is the Wine

Small group heli-skiing is unlike any other type of skiing. It will magnify your entire wilderness experience in the mountains and change your life forever. Here’s the deal: Loads of fresh, light Kootenay powder for four whole days…just you and ten of your closest friends. Nestled high in the Selkirks, the Snowwater Heli-Skiing operation is a remarkable 21-acre mountain oasis offering stupendous views of Canada’s Valhalla Range. Accessed only by helicopter, snowcat or snowmobile, it’s an exclusive and remote retreat for the adventurous at heart.

Snowwater can’t wait to serve up the lightest, fluffiest, most consistent stimulant on earth for you: Kootenay powder. The terrain is exceptional, and your guides will lead you to steep fall-lines old-growth descents, chutes flanked by towering granite spires and perpetual meadows of unbroken powder. If bad weather prevents flying, the Snowwater snowcat will whisk all of you to world-class glading close to home, so you get unlimited fresh tracks every single day of  your trip.

As for the accommodations, the lodge’s guest suites are spacious, tastefully furnished, and offer impressive views in every direction along with all the creature comforts you would expect. There is a genuine “family feeling” of hospitality at the lodge and the staff ’s impeccable service is top-notch.

After long days of skiing untracked, deep powder, you tend to build up a healthy appetite. Dining at Snowwater is a delicious departure from the ordinary. The chefs design innovative cuisine that never fails to dazzle even the most sophisticated palate, with a unique combination of impeccably sourced organic ingredients, featuring  wild game, indigenous berries and an infusion of the freshest local flavors.

Two of your evenings at the Snowwater Lodge are reserved for signature wine dinners. Joining your group in the mountains will be FAILLA’s intrepid winemaker Ehren Jordan, an accomplished skier himself, who will be bringing many of his own cellar favorites to share. You will dine on gourmet concoctions prepared by the lodge’s executive chefs and paired with outstanding wines from FAILLA. Fine wines and deep powder on an all-inclusive heli-ski trip. You cannot pass this up. Tips up!
