Miss Bennet: Christmas At Pemberley
Miss Bennet: Christmas At Pemberley
December 11 – 29, 2019
The Liberty Theatre, Hailey
by Lauren Gunderson and Margot Melcon
Directed by Scott Palmer
“The Family We Make”
The ever-dependable Mary Bennet is growing tired of her role as dutiful middle sister in the face of her siblings’ romantic escapades. When the family visits for Christmas, an unexpected guest sparks Mary’s hopes for independence, an intellectual match — and possibly even love? Spend the holiday season with your favorite Pride and Prejudice characters, as they gather at Pemberley, the stately home of Mr. and Mrs. Darcy! This charmingly imagined sequel to Jane Austen’s masterwork will delight Austen aficionados and new-comers alike — just the kind of experience multiple generations can enjoy together!
“Droll and delicious, Miss Bennet is a charming, confectionary celebration of fan favorite characters from Pride and Prejudice, multi-generationally honoring the legacy of Jane Austen’s humor, playfulness and wit in a warm-spirited holiday theatrical production.” —DCMetroTheaterArts.com
“Miss Bennet is a must-see for those who want to experience a wonderful feel-good love story during the Christmas season.” —Splash Magazine
“It’s a joyous thing when you have to pinch yourself because you can’t believe a play is getting better and better and more irresistible as it goes on; but that’s what happens here. Do not miss Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberly.” —Atlanta Town Paper

COF will offer “sensory friendly” performances throughout our season, specifically designed for audience members with autism, spectrum disorders, or other sensory disorders. SPECIAL PARENT & BABY PAY WHAT YOU FEEL MATINEE PERFORMANCE
COF has created a special opportunity where parents can get out to see a play with their babies in tow! The theatre will be prepped and ready, with the house lights kept illuminated so that parents can keep an eye on their little ones. Baby changing station will be available in the restroom, and space will be set aside in the lobby where parents can retreat in the event that a little angel decides to turn into a little monster. Best of all, patrons can attend the show for a donation of their choosing, and babies get in for free!
BACKSTAGE TOUR & POST-SHOW CHAT BACK (immediately following show)
Immediately following the performance, stay for a thought-provoking and fun discussion with the artists and creative staff. And enjoy a behind-the-scenes tour of the design elements that went into creating the show.
