Barks is the most highly recognized translator of Rumi’s poetry. His reading will be accompanied by music from world-famous cellist David Darling and sacred dance by Hafizullah Chisti, a Whirling Dervish from the Sufi order established by Rumi’s followers in the 13th century.
This performance is collaboration between A Winter Feast for the Soul and the Sun Valley Center for the Arts.
