As part of Company of Fools commitment to the craft of theatre, we are proud to present the first in a series of skill building workshops for performers, artists, theatre practitioners, actors, and those with a passion for live theatre. Company of Fools Intensives will bring experts and trainers from across the country to the Valley to provide affordable workshops and trainings for local artists. The first in the Intensives series is Migration Theory, a physical art company that creates live-art experiences that are organically devised. This methodology explores the space between artistic disciplines in order to create work that is kinetic, intimate, participatory, and heartfelt.

This 10 hour workshop over three consecutive days will provide actors, dancers, students, artists, and non-artists with an understanding of Migration Theory practices and methods as a vehicle for discovering the art-maker within themselves. This workshop (includes the 3 sessions), and the affordable price of only $50, is made possible by a generous gift from Tim Mott.

This is a 10 hour workshop intensive occurs over three consecutive days:

Friday, April 12, 6:30-8:30pm
Saturday, April 13, 12-4pm
Sunday, April 14, 11am-3pm

Please make sure you wear comfortable clothes and shoes that you can move in as this workshop is focused on kinetic movement!
