Explore the deep dark secrets of fine art printmaking without a press from a seasoned printmaker. We’ll use Speedball‘s Gel Printing plate, cotton rag printmaking papers from The Netherlands, Asian mulberry paper and Akua Intaglio inks to employ a treasure trove of techniques for pulling a portfolio of highly developed multi-layered prints. Learn to enhance your prints by incorporating hand printed papers, pochoir and frottage using the chine collé process.

Amy Nack is founder of Wingtip Press Printmaking Studio located in Boise, Idaho. She teaches printmaking in her studio and as a teaching artist for the Idaho Commission on the Arts and Idaho Parents Unlimited. Nack received her BFA in Printmaking and BA in Art Historyfrom Boise State University in 2008 after a three-decade career in paper and graphics marketing. She is actively engaged with the community and is a frequent recipient of Boise City Department of Arts and History Grants arts providing community wide printmaking experiences and exhibitions.
