This four-day  workshop is geared towards adults who have little or no watercolor experience. Students will create a finished landscape painting working with minimal colors, learning how to create dimensions with brushstrokes and incorporating several different watercolor techniques to add detail.

Instructor Jennie Kilcup is an Idaho native, born and raised in Sun Valley, and currently living in Boise.  She started using watercolors at the age of 8 in beginning watercolor classes, and expanded her knowledge by self-taught techniques. Jennie’s medium of choice is watercolor on paper, enhanced with pen and ink etchings. Her subject matter consists primarily of Northwest wildlife and landscape scenery. Her pallet is highly colorful, bold and vibrant. When she is not painting, she enjoys Idaho’s beautiful outdoors and golf.

This class takes place Tue – Fri, Aug 20-23, from 9am – 1pm daily at The Center, Hailey classroom.
