Join Master Artist and Colorist Betty Merken for this exciting and jam packed, hands-on workshop as she guides you through understanding the spectrum and learning to use color powerfully and effectively. Based on the artist’s unique, multi-faceted, and easy to understand color systems, participants will learn step by step techniques for creating masterful color palettes for art, architecture, and design.   Participants will also learn methods for keeping a personal color journal filled with on-site color swatches and color notations.  Betty teaches workshops and seminars nationally on the use of color at UCLA, at the University of Oregon, at the Seattle Art Museum and by invitation to architecture and design firms.  Betty’s work is represented in Ketchum by Gilman Contemporary Gallery, where she will guide participants of the workshop in viewing her work.
