RESCHEDULED! Film Screening: 2015 Oscar Nominated Documentary Short Films (Program A)

Due to a delay in the delivery of the films, the screening of Program A of the documentary shorts has been rescheduled for Thursday, Feb 19 at 4:30pm and 7:30pm. If you are a ticket holder and cannot make the recheduled screening times on Feb 19 please contact The Center for a refund of your ticket purchase. We apologize for any inconvenience!

For the third year in a row, The Center and the Magic Lantern present the Oscar nominated films in the category Documentary Short Films (Program A). This is a rare chance to see these films.

Joanna (Aneta Kopacz) – 40 minutes/Poland/Polish. As she faces a terminal illness, the mother of a young son writes a blog in which she tries to leave a record of what she hopes to teach him.

Crisis Hotline: Veterans Press 1 (Ellen Goosenberg Kent and Dana Perry) – 39 minutes/USA/English. Each month the Veterans Crisis Line receives over 22,000 calls from military veterans, who account for 20% of all suicides in the U.S. each year.
