Start your Gallery Walk at the Center!
Each year Sun Valley Gallery Association hosts seven gallery walks (exhibition openings for all SVGA galleries), which are eagerly anticipated and free to the public. Locals and visitors alike take in thought-provoking exhibitions of newly installed art, enjoy wine, mingle with friends, and often meet the artists.
Coinciding with the National Park Centennial, Craters of the Moon is an exhibition in two parts celebrating the unique landscape at Craters of the Moon National Monument and Preserve. An exhibition in the gallery at The Center, Ketchum, features artwork ranging from paintings, drawings and photographs to video, sound work and daguerreotypes, all created in response to Craters of the Moon. Additionally, large-scale sculptures by John Grade and Jason Middlebrook are installed at Craters of Moon throughout summer 2016.
Part of The Center’s BIG IDEA project Craters of the Moon. Exhibition on view May 20–July 30, 2016 at The Center, Ketchum and Craters of the Moon National Monument, Arco, Idaho.
