The Head and The Heart is an indie folk-rock band from Seattle. They came together in 2009 through a series of open mic nights at the Conor Byrne pub in Old Ballard. They scored two a #1 single with their song “Lost in My Mind” and they’ve opened for Vampire Weekend, The Decemberists and more, and are on the ascent.

Opening act: San Fermin
San Fermin is the work of Brooklyn composer and songwriter Ellis Ludwig-Leone. He focuses on lifeʼs top-shelf issues – youth, nostalgia, anxiety, unrequited love – and ties these vast themes to different characters through vocal contributions from longtime friend Allen Tate, as well as Jess Wolfe and Holly Laessig of Lucius. A change this year picnics will be allowed at River Run, but due to liability concerns, Sun Valley Company will no longer allow outside alcohol at concerts. Bring i.d. if you’d like to purchase alcohol on site. Bags and i.d.s will be checked by Sun Valley Security.
