The evening pays loving tribute to the singers and songs of the silver screen when Broadway leading lady Teri Bibb performs ONCE UPON A SONG: A TRIBUTE TO THE GOLDEN VOICES OF THE SILVER SCREEN. Bibb is joined by Musical Director R.L. Rowsey.

Join us for a glamorous gala, performance and celebration benefiting The Fools. The Gala evening includes a pre-show cocktail party and red carpet reception at 5:30pm followed by the live performance with Broadway star Teri Bibb and musical director R.L. Rowsey at 7pm. The evening festivities continue with a private, post-show Hollywood after-party for all Foolish Visionaries and Stars at 8:30pm at The Center, Hailey.

About Teri Bibb
Bibb’s soaring soprano has thrilled audiences across the continent and throughout the world. In addition to performing on Broadway and tour as Christine in The Phantom of the Opera (more than 1,000 performances), she has given a command performance at the White House, on ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars,” and on the stages of Radio City Music Hall, Carnegie Hall and London’s Royal Albert Hall. In this tribute, Bibb shares her personal connection to the women who inspired her and helped shape her career. The concert features tunes from classic golden era films sung by Jane Powell, Kathryn Grayson, Judy Garland, Julie Andrews, Shirley Jones, and more, and is an evening of glorious singing, stories and a musical surprise or two.
About R.L. Rowsey
R.L. Rowsey has spent his life immersed in the arts. From his start in Richmond, Virginia filled with piano lessons, church choirs and high school plays, R.L. has continued his love for the arts in a diverse and exciting career. After studying voice and piano at Virginia Commonwealth University and musical directing dozens of musicals at local theatres, R.L. moved to the Washington, D.C. suburbs where spent time serving as musical director for a new American opera, singing the title role in Michael Nyman’s The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat, teaching and directing at The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, The Studio Theatre, and Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company. Eventually, R.L. left the area to tour the country as musical director and conductor for a number of national tours of Broadway musicals. A quick return to Richmond as the associate producing artistic director for TheatreVirginia, and R.L. was back on the road first as conductor, then company manager and finally general manager for one of the nation’s leading producers of national tours.
Seventeen years ago, R.L. and his partner John Glenn moved to Hailey, Idaho to work with Company of Fools, a professional theatre company. In addition to his work as the Education Artistic Director for the Sun Valley Summer Symphony, he also serves as the music director for Light on the Mountains Center for Spiritual Living and conductor of Caritas Chorale. R.L. also spends time as a clinician, coach, and adjudicator throughout the region.
