In this week-long creative workshop, young artists will focus on the art of observation.  Each student will construct their own journal, which will serve as a sketchbook for the entire week.  In addition to drawing from observation and exploring various materials for making art, students will be introduced to contemporary artists, take field trips around the valley, and create a site specific art work.  By the end of the week, your artist will not only have great artwork to bring home, but they will have made new connections with people and places in the Wood River Valley.
