Inspired by the Wish You Were Here multidisciplinary project, this workshops explores stop animation which is a film technique used to make objects appear to move on their own. Objects are moved in small increments and photographed. The stills are then uploaded into iMovie and edited to create the illusion of movement. Students will use this fun and creative process to document their family vacations and put a new twist on traditional travel journals. Students will need to bring an assortment of photographs and other souvenirs from their travels to create their video journals.
This is a 2-day class that will take place on Saturday, Feb 1 and Sunday, Feb 2, from 10-4pm.
