The Antinori family’s winemaking heritage dates back 26 generations and over 600 years in Italy. Set in the eastern mountains of Napa Valley, the secluded and breathtaking Antinori Family Estate of Antica Napa Valley encompasses nearly 1200 acres. “Antica” is short for Antinori California, and fulfills the family’s long-standing desire to produce beautiful wines in Napa Valley. Tonight, one lucky winner will take home three bottles of Antica’s renowned wines, one magnum of the sold out 2008 Townsend Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon and two 750ml bottles of the extraordinary 2012 Townsend Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon. Townsend Vineyard’s name illustrates the passion and care the Antinori family puts into its wines; the family named it for Mrs. June Townsend, who bought the land with her husband in the 1950s. Mrs. Townsend offered to sell the land to Piero Antinori in 1998, knowing it was going to man who would care for with the same love and attention she had.
